The approved in principle Materials and Services Charge for 2024 is $855.00.

An information sheet about school charges is provided towards the end of each year. The 2024 Materials and Services Charge is a prescribed sum of $855.00.

Families of all known 2024 students are polled in accordance with Education Act 2019 (section 129) and the Materials and Services Charges Administrative Instructions and Guidelines.

ways to pay

The Finance Office is open to receive payments from students each morning between 8:15am and 8:40am and at Recess time. Parents are welcome to make payments at any time. Online payments are welcome. When making a payment to the school, choose from the following options:

  • QKR – online payments
  • EFTPOS – in person or over the phone
  • EFT – payment through the bank (use the Family Code or invoice no. as identification)
  • Cheque – made payable to 91·çÁ÷Â¥·ï
  • Cash

Books and Materials

Textbooks are provided on payment of the Material and Services Charge. At the start of each year, students will also have a school account established that allows them to access internet, email and printing facilities. Supplementary internet and printing access can be purchased, as required, from the Finance Office.

Parents are required to pay for Student ID cards, all stationery, some student workbooks, camps and excursions and the school magazine. Some subjects may include additional costs that are not covered by the Material and Services Charge. This information is available in the 91·çÁ÷Â¥·ï Guide or the year level booklists below.

Payment by instalment plans available. Contact the Finance Office on 08 8272 8233 (option 2) for details.
In some cases, students may be eligible for government assistance through the School Card System. Contact the Finance Office for details of how to apply before the commencement of the school year.

Booklists

MGHS has worked with Campion Education to produce booklists specific to each year level. Please see below for your appropriate year level(s) and instructions for how to order.

Purchasing from Campion Education is not compulsory. Families may use the booklists as a guide and purchase their materials elsewhere.
